CereScan offers a variety of channels for communicating information about the rapidly emerging brain imaging and neurotech sectors. In addition to our website, we use blogs and other social media tools to provide dynamic, interactive channels to facilitate two-way discussion about exciting new developments for diagnosing and treating brain-based conditions.

This will be a place where you can find reviews and discussions about the latest research on a variety of topics within cognitive neuroscience, psychiatric disorders and neurodegenerative disorders.  We will cover topics in methods of diagnoses and imaging modalities, and diseases such as Alzheimer’s, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, OCD, autism, depression, bipolar disorder, and stroke to name a few.  When interesting and pertinent research in cognition arises, we aim to cover that as well.

Just a quick bio about me.  I am a PhD neuroscientist who studied brain and behavior in graduate school and at a post doctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.  Thanks for reading.  Patrick Hurley, Ph.D
